Geoffrey Balmes published in BPM Institute

Collaborative's own Geoffrey Balmes, Senior Business Architect has been published in the BPM Institute. Geoffrey has been contributing consistently to this organization and we are very proud to have him part of Collaborative Consulting.

Though the case can be made to build and maintain a Business Architecture for any number of reasons, there is one business situation more glaring than any other – Merger/Acquisition. Face it, following a merger/acquisition there are a lot people doing the same things differently. Their business processes are the same, only different, and they measure themselves and their products differently. All the existing dashboards are now broken and all the existing reports are comparing apples to oranges. In this article I try to demonstrate how business architecture contributes to a smooth technology transition as multiple sets of operations are merged.
