To gain more insight into the role of ROI in the current IT marketplace, the author met with 10 key clients and prospects. The discussions focused on the trend toward more rigorous and widespread use of an ROI methodology, as well as two fundamental ROI concerns: IT strategy and technology replacements.
This paper reflects those discussions, and introduces an emerging approach to handle IT projects designed to provide flexibility and reduce risk.
